With time to spare...we headed off to Coffeyville, Kansas where the left and right boots were invited by John Cubine...the 1st Icee was made and of course, the infamous Dalton Gang was taken down.

The Dalton Gang did not "bank" on the citizens of Coffeyville coming after them!

John Cubine invited the left and right boot....prior to this it was the same boot for both feet. Quite uncomfortable!

We heard it was pretty but we will have to take the word of the person that said it because it was closed. That's ok, we used the grounds for picture taking :)

The white triangular building was one bank they tried to rob and right across the street to the left of the hardware store (building now gone) was the 2nd bank they tried to rob at the same time.

After all of that walking...we needed to cool off. The Chamber of Commerce, also one of the original bank buildings, has icees. They were also created in Coffeyville!
