We got up at 3:45am, yes, 3:45am and left the hotel at 4:15am to make it up to Cadillac Mountain by 4:45am to watch the sunrise. Oh, my...it was SO worth it! Now, if you decide to do it, be sure that you take WARM clothes! I never imagined it would be so cold and windy up there but it sure was. Fortunately we have been living out of the car for weeks now so we had some things to throw on. The sunrise was just beyond amAzing! So many people were out on the rocks just silently waiting and snapping pictures. The sun started peeking up casting beautiful shades on the water. It was just breathtaking! I think everyone should do it at least once in their lives. We headed back to the hotel and I took a short nap. It was only 5am and we didn't see anything open yet.
We packed up the Suburban and headed off for our next stop...Boston! Wowzers! I accidently drove right into the city around lunchtime. Craziness! People just stepped out in the road right in front of you. Like, heeeellloooo....don't you realize that some of us aren't from here and are trying to follow a Lucy, the gps?!!! By the grace of God I didn't kill anyone and I am quite proud to say that I did it! Whew! We made it to our hotel. We stayed a little out of Boston to help save on cost. We decided that we were a bit tired so we chilled in the hotel and the little once again worked on some of that summer homework packet.
