We started off the summer on June 4th with the odometer at 3420 miles. Our 1st unscheduled stop was Ruby Falls. What an amazing place! I am incredibly claustrophobic but I just tried to imagine that I was in a Disney like space and not 145 feet underground. It was a nice 60 degrees down there and lots to view and see. Nothing prepares you for when the lights are off and then all of a sudden, BAM...a breathtaking sight! All of your senses are delighted with the lights changing with the waterfalls; the sounds of the soft music playing and the water falling; feeling the mist of the water touching your skin; the smell of freshwater and every now and then the taste of fresh water if the falls splashed your face. We were so happy that we saw the signs for this spot and decided to detour to stop! #RubyFalls #Travel #AdventureGirls
