Niagra Falls!! AmAzing!

June 19, 2018

We were planning to do Niagra Falls when the hubby came up but then he started to sound like he was going to back out so we decided to go. Then I could only find the little's passport and not mine so we almost didn't do it because everyone says the Canadian side is so much better and it may be but we decided to go for it and I have to say, WOW!!!! Niagra Falls is amazing. I love waterfalls and boy did this sure take the cake. The weather was amAzing and everything was just so pretty.

We did the Maid of the Mist first. It was super cool "surfing" the falls and feeling the water on our faces and the views...oh, the views! Then we did a little hiking around the observation deck area. The little didn't want to do the caves and I was fine with not getting soaking wet. We had an amazing time on the boat. We shopped a little and then got an ice cream and just laid in the park. It was ultra relaxing. We had been in the car traveling so much and it was nice just to pause and soak it all in. We listened to the falls and the trees and just rested.

We had time to kill in between the boat ride and the fireworks so we had our ice cream as I mentioned and then we walked back to the little town and went to the Hard Rock Cafe for dinner. We had some fun singing and eating. Well, me singing and the little trying to get me to stop...haha! Then we went back to the car and caught a couple of episodes of Greys Anatomy on Netflix. We are a little addicted to the show...haha! We were still a bit early but we decided to go and get a spot on the observation deck. It was a good thing! We got there over an hour early and just barely got a spot on the railing. We feel certain that we are in at 300 posts on Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter and FB because so many people posed with us on the rail with the water behind us. We moved for those that asked...many just didn't ask and we would turn around and they were in our faces. Crazy! Anyway...we had the perfect spot! We had a front row view of the lightshow on the falls and the fireworks display. The fireworks were phenomenal with the falls and light show going at the the same time. Simply amazing!

My recommendation...even if you forgot your passport....go! It is awesome!

This is how we have planned for this trip. We have used our handy navigation system in our Chevy Suburban. We click "points of interest nearby"...

...then "tourist attractions" and if something catches our eye....we click "GO!" and we are off!

Just gorgeous!

The water was just so blue!

Adventure Girls!

Ok, maybe I should have kept my hood on but I loved every minute of it!

My view laying in the park and taking a break.

I NEVER ever ever want to forget this moment. Our kids grow up way too quickly and for her to just take the time to be still and chill with her head resting on my leg was so relaxing. I could have stayed there forever! I love you, my little Adventure Girl!
Time to rock on!

Oh the gorgeous sunset!

Let the light show begin!

The amazing fireworks display.

A day we won't ever forget!
